What can Portable Floormaker do for you?
We carry out the service at our factory in Castle Donington, Derby.
For a small cost we are able to arrange a collection from your premises and delivery back to you once the service is complete. This service is only available for addresses within the UK.
Alternatively, if you are able to bring the panels to the factory (and collect them) then we are able to have them turned around in approx. 2 hours.
We are leading manufacturers of Portable Dance Floors and have the correct tools and machinery to allow you to get the most out of this service. This means that you are guaranteed a great quality, professional finish each time.
How does it work?
A Florlok® parquet dance floor panel will go through 2 stages during a refurbishment:
- Sanding – Our industrial sander ensures the top surface is completely level before the lacquer is applied. Doing this by hand may not always leave the surface level and can cause you problems further down the line.
- Lacquered – 3 coats of lacquer are applied and then cured through a UV light- which dries instantly, creating a hard-wearing finish which normal lacquers dried through the elements just can’t achieve.
The sanding process and glossy finish brings the shine back to your portable dance floor.
One thing to note – before the service, please ensure that the parquet inlay is protruding the aluminium surround of each panel.
